the nelson ciron farewell show saturday may 29

it's about six months late and we actually had to have him come back up from virginia to do this, but we're putting on a big farewell show in philadelphia next saturday for our erstwhile drummer nelson at indre studios, recording home of sonic sessions, behind the beats and live at the world cafe. go to the website, it's an amazing space and tons of great artists have performed there from tori amos to warren zevon. if that wasn't enough, we're lucky enough to have some extra special performances by our friends in cameron, badditude & david gray (from pa)!

indre studios
1418 south darien st.
215-463-3000
bands start at 9:00pm, $5
featuring:

apple of discord (that's us)

cameron (members of the silence kit, bridge made of bats) : cameron (1998-2000) made their mark playing angular post punk in the vein of cursive and fugazi. after two years, one full length CD and one split 7" cameron collectively called it quits, but they're reuniting for this show!

badditude
(members of u.s. rail, clark, the new invisibles, cold blue stars) : badditude is a no-star lineup of aaron delarosa's bandmates over the past several years. while the mechanics of his bands have changed (guitars to computer to banjo and back again), the songwriting has always maintained the catchiness, charm and acerbic wit and no-song-too-short lo-fi ethic popularized by bands like guided by voices and neutral milk hotel.

david gray (not that david gray, but an amazing singer-songwriter)
