have a great holiday, everyone. my mom's away and monica's family isn't celebrating until sunday, so it will be a hungry man thanksgiving for us. a ha ha hmmm.

it's not exactly a new review, but aaron bought a copy of jersey beat #71 yesterday and was nice enough to transcribe jay w.'s review of "you were right" for me. it's up in the reviews section now. if you go by what the review says, you can totally picture the band sitting in a dark room, dressed in black and fiercely scribbling manic poetry. the sad and uncool reality is that we spend most of our time playing videogames.

speaking of which, is anyone else playing splinter cell for xbox? man, this game rocks.

tuesday night at gradwell was cool. i think i played ok, but who knows. i wasn't great or anything. oliver's army was real good. they were freaking spastic out there, especially lee the bass player. i almost caught a mic stand in the crotch and a tuning peg in the face during their set. but if you have the energy, go for it. i certainly don't. i mean, i have to sit down after loading my gear in. the english system were typically awesome. thanks to jason schefflin for putting the show together, steve poponi for hosting it and everyone who attended for coming and for not singing 'happy birthday'. i would have died from embarrassment if they had.

website was moved on tuesday, and some of the stuff like the shoutbox and blog were all screwed up. i think we're all good now.

solo show this tuesday at gradwell house studios in gloucester with the english system (back from tour), the new anxiety & oliver's army. it also happens to be my birthday, big deal. hope to see you there.

ok, ok -- i meant bottom RIGHT corner for the jazz odyssey link!

boy, was i bored tonight. added a link in the bottom left corner to an info page about the jazz odyssey and spruced up a few things around the webpage. oh and you can now download those two newer demos i was telling you about by clicking down there. everything's pretty much the same otherwise. hooray for me.

no, it's not a panda; that's me as the creeping death skull at nolan's halloween party. scary, but not as scary as last year when i went out as a failed musician. booOOoooOoo. i have two more solo demos, 'blowing out the sun' & 'i was so sure', but i'm worried that i'm close to my hard disk quota. i dunno. IM me if you really want to hear them, i guess.

our friends in the english system are out on tour until the 17th. if they're coming to your town you should definitely check them out. i'm playing a solo set at gradwell house recording on the 19th with them + two other bands that will probably blow me off the stage harder than blueshammer did to fred chatman in ghost world.
