Biography

Elocine is a one-man band. Originally from the IROC-laden depths of southern New Jersey, this project has relocated and now resides in southeastern Virginia. It was founded seven years ago by sole member, Nelson Ciron, as nothing but a way to kill time. But over time, it has evolved into a full-fledged musical project. To date, two LP’s and three EP’s have been released. The musical output is indie/lo-fi.

occasionally, i get random emails + IM's asking where the name elocine comes from or what all these songs are about. well, here you go....

what does elocine mean?
try spelling nicole backwards, then adding an e to the end of it.

what are the songs about?
sex, drugs, lies, and video tape. C'MON!!! what do you think they're about?! ok, ok... while i won't say who or what they're about, i'll go as far as saying that each song usually conveys feelings associated with a particular experience. but if you knew me well enough, you'd be able to figure it all out in a second.
