w3rd problem

i should call the park and find out exactly how long their track is. i’m under the impression that it’s a quarter mile. i can do ten laps in about 50 minutes. but that would mean that it takes me almost an hour to run two and a half miles. i mean, i can walk a mile in 20 minutes! it doesn’t add up. the track might be a half mile long but it doesn’t seem like it. although i wouldn’t be completely surprised if i ran slower than i walked, ha ha. any takers on this one?

update: thanks lindenwold. i called and the receptionist said, “i think it’s about a mile”. unless i’m part horse, i’m positive that i’m not running over 10 miles an hour.

Well I think it’s a conspiracy, a conspiracy by the presidental health and fitness commission to make kids think that they ran 2 and a half miles but in actuality it’s closer to 3 and a half. Slick ain’t it?

Wasn’t Arnold appointed to the head of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness way back when? How convenient.
