OWA weirdness and pie in the sky
Published by james June 16th, 2005 in teh geek masturhere’s an odd one: when checking the calendar in microsoft outlook web access, appointments appear one hour later than they actually occur. i found a couple of knowledge base articles on similar occurences but nothing that matches what i’m experiencing exactly (i’m pretty sure my computer’s not set to GMT jerusalem).
i’d like to implement a microsoft exchange instant messaging server this summer. i looked at it this year and if i can get it to work i think it’d really help productivity.

Make sure in the Time Zone tab of your clock, that you are using (or not using) daylight savings time. If the box is not checked, and you should be observing daylight savings time, you would be an hour off. That setting is PC based, not server based.
it’s a shared calendar between three users. i checked it out on the first user’s PC and yep, daylight savings time isn’t checked off. i’ll have to check the other one’s and then see what the third (the one who uses OWA) sees. thanks a million for the assistance, i’ll let you know how it goes.
