my USTA tennis team, you’ve been served (long story) is playing in the district championships in hamilton township during the last weekend of july. we have matches at 8:30AM both mornings, yikes. cutting my running to once a week and trying to up my tennis to 4 times a week in preparation, we’ll see how it goes.

i ate a ton of food last weekend and still came out of it losing four pounds. not that i’m complaining but i’m a little concerned. saturday i ate a banana & peanut butter for breakfast, a muffin, protein bar & half of beth’s turkey sandwich in the car, a bunch of tortilla chips with salsa, mango garlic sauce & taco dip in the afternoon and a turkey burger, tortellini salad, zucchini and regular salad for dinner. sunday i had a burrito with eggs, fake sausage, cheese & salsa and cantaloupe for breakfast, a payday bar & potato chips in the car, salmon & carrots for dinner and a muffin & slice of peanut butter pie for dessert. monday i ate a banana & peanut butter for breakfast, popcorn and a chicken salad sandwich with cheese, lettuce & egg for lunch and singapore noodles for dinner. tried to eat a little more yesterday but ideally i’d like to get myself up to a lean 145 lbs and i’m only going to get there with more meals, more protein and less junk.

update: monica just reminded me that there’s a trader joe’s 25 minutes from our house. green onion & yogurt potato chips, here we come! don’t worry, it’s “organic”.
