between being blocked by comcast, corrupt registry hives, swollen resistors, dead video cards, moving PCs, new ghost imaging, necessary SIS upgrades and an upcoming network overhaul, work has been pretty crazy. it’s a good thing i’m impervious to stress.

spent last weekend in scenic ventnor nj for nolan’s wedding. it was great, despite the fact that some condominiums right down the street from colleen’s house burned down a few hours before the rehearsal. her and her family couldn’t get into their development to get ready for it and once in, they couldn’t get out:

A fire official increased the damage estimate Saturday to at least $6 million for a massive fire that destroyed 11 condominium units and extensively damaged two more in the bayfront Crown Key Yacht Club on Friday.

But Fire Capt. John Hazlett said investigators were still trying to find out what caused a car fire that witnesses say started the condos burning.

speaking of live performances, i played two solo shows over the past two weeks. they were both fun. i brought a laptop for the live set i played at the hypno house, which provided some drumbeats i’d composed in FL studio. i was hoping it would come off like portishead but i was too much of a spaz on guitar. the highlight of the house (or backyard, as it was) show in haddon heights was swallowing a bug.
