tonight, friends & labelmates in the silence kit are playing at the khyber with pela, windsor for the derby & early day miners. also, my drummer brian’s other, much more happening than AOD band the old souls are closing out the night over at tritone. i’m going to try and hit both.

update: remind me to just take a cab to old city next time i want to go to the khyber on a friday night. kenny g. from the now-closed club 218 is doing sound there now, he does a great job. arun & i got there towards the end of TSK’s set but it sounded good from what i could tell. i really dug pela, who played a super energetic set. i had to take arun home early so i missed out on EDM & the old souls. maybe next time.
