holy guacamole

if it takes you longer than 15 minutes to put this together you should seriously consider throwing out all of your dinnerware and resign yourself to a lifetime of pizza delivery:

two avocados, cut & peeled
1/2 cup onions, chopped
2 large cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp ground cumin
coarse salt
1 tsp lime juice

if you like your guacamole spicy, add some chopped jalepenos & subsitute red onion for white. some people like to put a little chopped tomato in as well. i’d say 1/4 cup is fine. i like to use a large melon baller with serrated edges to scoop out the insides of the avocado, it works really well.

1. mix onions & garlic in a medium sized mixing bowl. mash with spoon.
2. add avocado. mash with fork.
3. add lime juice, cumin & coarse salt to taste. mix well. serves two.

i would have taken a photo but it was gone before i could grab a camera. i think i’ve been putting a 1/4 tsp of cumin in everything i’ve been making lately! up next: a no-alarm chili recipe from last week.
