my drummer brian also plays with adam & dave’s bloodline (feat. adam & dave from marah), who have a great new record out called love. it’s a really varied and interesting album, with super fun straight up rock songs (”corner sloop”, “twist the knife”) and nods to everything from synth rock (”where you are”) to twee (”untouchable”) and everything in between. there’s even a naked-era talking heads sounding song (”the lonely pioneers”) on there. highly recommended.

cd release is tomorrow night (thursday 5/24) at johnny brenda’s with joe jack talcum (dead milkmen) and fang fang. 9:00PM, 21+, $8.
