Our friends Mike & Kim put on shows at Rockwells, an all-ages venue in Sicklerville NJ. Monica and I saw Denison Witmer there last year, it’s an awesome space, the kids are great and Kim & co. put out a ridiculous spread of food. Stir-fry tofu anyone?

They’ve been helping out the family of a local three year old boy named Nicholas who has been diagnosed with leukemia, and to make matters worse, they are in dire financial straits. Right now his parents are out of work and need to pay two months back rent and two back water bills plus late fees within a few weeks or they face eviction. How anyone can evict a family under such circumstances is beyond me.

In addition to setting up a fund for Nicholas, Mike & Kim are putting on a benefit show Saturday, February 9. A bunch of bands are donating their time and talent, Rockwells is donating their space and it would be great if you can come out. It’s going to be us, some acoustic artists and even some hardcore/metalcore bands (!).
