CD Release Show!
Our long awaited second album, entitled "A Strange Labor," is finally being released. It is a split release between Azteca Records and Breakeven Records. The CD Release Show is next Saturday, July 19th @ The Manhattan Room in Philadelphia.

Meeting The Cure
This past Saturday night, I was honored to interview Robert Smith, of The Cure, for 104.5 FM in Philadelphia, PA! It was exactly as incredible as it sounds. I had the opportunity to talk with him one-on-one and ask him questions - some of which I've had for many years. Jay Dyer (drums) and my good friend (and retired-member of The Silence Kit) Nick Franklin were there with me, we got to hang out backstage, in the dressing room, meet and talk with the whole band (minus Porl), and my entire interview with Robert was videotaped. It was a great interview. We talked about the new lineup, a question I'd always had about 'Burn' from the Crow soundtrack, the future for the band, solo material, Robert's sly plan to release a double album, the remasters, and more. And we laughed a whole lot more than you'd probably expect. I was sure to slip Robert Smith a copy of The Silence Kit - 'In Regulated Measure,' and an advance copy of The Silence Kit - 'A Strange Labor,' as well, which he was happily receptive to. Recording
After the past few great shows we've had, playing with Gene Loves Jezebel, Red Orange Morning, Action Set, Desoto Jones and more, we've decided to take a short break from shows, to focus on the recording of our 3rd album shows page to find out more.

Website Updates
I just added an influences section to our site, to give an idea of what we listen to. It's far from a complete list, and there are a good bit of placeholders in there for now, but we will continue to add content. For now it was all put together by myself (Pat), so I'm not speaking for the other guys, but we do have overlapping tastes for sure, and maybe they'll contribute in the future. So if you're interested, you can keep an eye out for updates...
Upcoming Shows
Our next show is this Friday, March 21st, at The Street Road Bar and Grille with Paintbox. And we've also booked a few more shows, including an all ages show in Audubon, NJ in April with Action Set and Red Orange Morning, and a show at the Khyber with Scratches on Vinyl. New Mp3s
Our February 9th show with Gene Loves Jezebel and Spear of Destiny went really well.
Sean Carpenter was there to take some pictures, including the one above, and our set was recorded.
There are a few songs from that recording up on our music page, in our new music player, and those songs are also available for free downloads further down the page.
Press
Our song "A New Disappointment" was recently selected as Song of the Week on the German music blog Schallgrenzen. They gave us a nice write up (in German), which is now on our press page.

NYC Show
The show at Kenny's Castaways was a really great time!
Thanks to Red Orange Morning, and to everyone who came out.
We're definitely looking forward to playing NYC again soon.
Hopefully we'll have a show booked for March or April. We'll keep you posted.

Philly Show
We've got a Philly show booked for February and its at the Khyber and its with a UK-based band you
may have heard of: Gene Loves Jezebel.
They are on tour and coming to Philadelphia for the first time in years, and we'll be opening.
